Terms of Service

Last updated: April 27, 2026

Welcome to Windsor. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Windsor, a coordination platform for reciprocal guest access between private golf clubs, operated by Rambler Technology ("we," "us," "our").

By creating an account or otherwise using Windsor, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use Windsor. By using Windsor, you represent that you meet these requirements.

Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@windsorcaddie.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and to keep that information up to date.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Windsor to harass, defraud, or impersonate others.
  • Submit false information about your identity, club affiliations, or guest information.
  • Use Windsor to circumvent a partner club's policies or member rules.
  • Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to access.
  • Interfere with the operation of the service through automated requests, scraping, or denial-of-service activity.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract source code from Windsor.
  • Use Windsor for unlawful purposes or to violate any applicable law.

The platform's role

Windsor coordinates communications between members, sponsors, pros, and partner clubs. We are not a party to the relationship between you and any partner club. Final decisions about guest access — whether to approve a request, set tee times, enforce club rules, or admit guests — rest entirely with the relevant club and its representatives.

Windsor does not collect tee fees, caddie fees, or other charges. Any payments are between you and the club at the time of play.

Network limits

To maintain the integrity and sustainability of the Windsor network, we apply usage limits. These may be updated from time to time. As of this writing:

  • Members are limited to 2 active round requests per 30-day rolling window.
  • Each partner club is limited to 30 incoming requests per 30-day rolling window.
  • Individual partner clubs may set additional rules (party size, advance notice, guest-allowed days, handicap requirements). Their rules apply to your requests at their club.

Communications

You consent to receive communications from Windsor related to your account and activity, including transactional notifications via email and (if you opt in) SMS. You may control your notification preferences in your account settings.

Reply STOP to any SMS to opt out. Reply HELP for assistance. Standard message and data rates may apply.

Content and conduct

You retain ownership of the information you submit to Windsor (account profile, request details, messages). By submitting content to Windsor, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use that content as necessary to operate the service (e.g., displaying your name and request details to the relevant club, sending your message to the appropriate sponsor or pro).

You are responsible for the content you submit. Content that violates these Terms or applicable law may be removed.

Termination

You may close your Windsor account at any time by contacting hello@windsorcaddie.com.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, that pose risk to other users or partner clubs, or as otherwise necessary to operate the service. We will use reasonable efforts to notify you of material termination decisions.

Disclaimers

Windsor is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific guest round request will be approved.

Partner clubs are independent organizations. We do not guarantee the accuracy of club-provided information (rules, policies, blackouts, fees) and are not responsible for the actions or decisions of partner clubs.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rambler Technology and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Windsor.

Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you have paid to Windsor in the twelve months prior to the claim, or (b) $100.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Windsor evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email to active users at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of Windsor after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.
